About Hathi Green Cardamom
Green cardamom is a triangular seed pod from the ginger family. There are small black seeds inside each pod. It carries a sweet, slightly floral, and warm aroma. It is known as the "Queen of Spices" because it’s one of the oldest whole spices used in Indian kitchens.
Origin and Sourcing
Hathi Masala sources cardamom from the farms in the hills of Kerala. The rich soil and consistent rainfall in those farms give the cardamom its naturally strong aroma and high volatile essential oil content. Kerala is India’s largest supplier of cardamom.
